So it's really cool when we go to some other state and people know about the RoomBuds. We can thank iRobot for puttting out so many Roomba vacuums 'cause without the Roombas there would be no RoomBuds. Well anyways, people have been asking us about the iRobot Roomba skins at iRobotskins They are pretty cool. As long as they don't start selling animal skins we should be ok. Some people have emailed us and ranted that they stole our idea but that's not so. We just happened to put the costumes out first. Oh well, I guess we are learning a valuable business lesson about competition.

Roomba with a personality - next step for the RoomBud

So the next big thing is hacking the iRobot Roomba to add personalities to each RoomBud. Roor the tiger will stalk the dirt. Roobit the frog will sort of hop around the room. Mooba the cow will graze for a bit then move on to a different spot. RoomBette La French Maid just sits there and shakes it's head back forth. Stay tuned.

How To Survive A Robot Uprising meets the RoomBuds

So the myRoomBud kids wrote Danial Wilson, the guy who wrote the book, and it turns out that he knew about the RoomBuds. Mr. Wilson is now the proud owner of one of the new Spring collection RoomBuds. The kids loved the book but shouldn't it be How to survive a RoomBud uprising? I know that there have been a few times that our Roomba escaped by evading the virtual wall because the batteries were low or our cat bumped the virtual wall or whatever and we had to search all over the house for it. One time we found it hiding behind the toilet. I hope that iRobot adds a gps to the Roomba that we can track its migration path.

myRoomBud Wants To Clothe The Roomba World With Its Spring RoomBud Collection

Lucky the Ladybug and FooFoo the WereRabbit have been spotted roaming eBay, Amazon and our web site. These are just too cute for words.

The spring RoomBud collection should help in our goal of clothing every Naked Roomba on the planet. The idea of clothing every Roomba Vacuuming Robot came after the Isabelle reread one of the Harry Potter books. Isabelle said she wanted to be just like Hermione Granger and her S.P.E.W. (Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare) organization. Cloths for Roombas. No More Naked Roombas! Roombas are people too!
